To me this seems to be about how everything in the world feels distant and meaningless after he lost his wife. All the neighbors don't seem to care anymore and only acted like care in the funeral. He tries to go to church to find comfort from a God, but only finds meaningless pictures. All the peoples outside annoy and disgust him now. Everybody just focus on their own self. He still hopes and prays for things to get better, but it just keeps growing darker with each day. |

This seems like some kind of twisted love song. To me this sounds like it's about some killer guy who fall in love with a girl. And then convince or manipulate her to do crime also. But in the end the girl start to feel bad about it. So one time when they meet at the corner to do one more crime job. She decide to kill the guy. The guy feels the guns bang and now sings the story down from the hell. But she didn't do it so that she could keep all the money they have stolen, or she didn't do it out of love, but she did it to save her soul. Guy still loves her tough and understands her actions and want's her to move on with her live. As he says. Don't worry about where the gun been (past) or where it hit now (hit the guy). Guy takes responsibility of all the crimes, cos it isn't her to sin. Cos he understand that she killed him to save her own soul. |
