If you look at how nonchalant the narrator is about his life, one could interpret it to be about disillusionment with suburban family life: We had a baby, and we gave so few fucks we named him "Baby." There's also the bit about a backyard with nothing in it, "except a box with something in it" which is the aloof asshole kind of the thing you say to someone when you want them to get the fuck out yo' business. |
