| I think ceejy is dead on w his comment. It is a critique between religion/faith as displayed by figures in the bible compared to people of today. I will add that I always believed line 3 was "close enough to hold our heir's attention". This would further validate ceejy's comment, as the people of today are the heirs of the Christian faith from the figures in the bible. | |
