Pretty sure that this song is about fake ass bands. If memory serves Blues From The Red Sun came out in '92 when hair bands were dying out. So most of this song is making fun of hair bands, with the exception of the first verse which is addressing "satanic" bands. The chorus is about screwing groupies. The last verse might be about coming home to your actual woman who matters. |

The fact that someone said that this song is absolutely about a young life camp bums me out. Glenn writes so many songs about his family that I had always thought this song was about a trip to his grandparents house. Possibly the last trip he made before they passed away. |
