I can totally vouche for this; as an ex-opiate user this is totally a song laced with references to opiate IV use but it's not the focal point.....just a very unique personal but still very romantic situation that tells the story about two opiate users that seem to be in love and care more about that than their addictions....also, I personally believe she means to see "got a lot to NOD to, lemme kill it with you..." the term "nodding" is a very common slang used by opiate users to describe the effects of someone's head dropping behavior and falling asleep due to administering a large dose of opiates (i.e. heroin, oxycotin, fentanyl, black tar heroin, ecp etc...." TRUST me, she's def referencing opiates in several of her songs but it by no means detracts from the talented and super enjoyable music she makes. I love her work! |
