Hah, I'm the one who comments on the FF songs! ^^ yay! Anyways...This song, if you think about it in just terms off FFVIII, it describes the romance between the main characters, Rinoa and Squall. If you think about, until RInoa came along, Squall was pretty much what you might call a 'lost soul' ...He was shy, and kind of shallow..(Always gotta have a loner, eh?) ..But Rinoa brought out the best in him, and helped him to find the love which he needed, even if he was too 'tough' to admit it..Eyes On Me is quite a lovely song, and doesn't just have to pertain to FFVIII only... Like a lot of Final Fantasy songs (Nobuo Uematsu is a genius, btw...hehe) this revolves around the theme of love ^_^ (And to 'binkie' ...You can get this song, and you can listen to it whenever you want to..Just download a music sharing program, like Morpheus (etc, etc) and there you go! You can also search some Final Fantasy Fansites (Three 'F's! lol..) and they usually have some Mp3's you can download ;D Enjoy..) |

| Heh, wow, I didn't expect SongMeanings to have a Final Fantasy lyric section :D heh..Anyway.. Melodies Of Life is a beautiful song, and if you've ever played FFIX you'd know that Garnet is often found humming along to this in the game in various scences...If you'ved played through the game, you could probably understand who this song was revolving around (it's obvious..), but even if you haven't, you can most likely understand that this song is about love...In the game Garnet (whom was heir to the throne; she was a princess, in Alexandria, which is a town) with a bizarre twist of fate, gets mixed up with a group of theater performers, known as "Tantalus" .. umm..I'll stop with the 'narration' thing I've got going here...heh ^^;; .. The lyrics in the song just describe the friendship (which does turn to love) between Princess Garnet and Zidane (a member of the Tantalus group) and how they will always remember what happened, and will always remember eachother..And even if they do not meet again, they will always have the memories within their hearts, and their love will carry on forever. ^_~ Well, that's how I see it anyway... | |
