In the Bible, God's Wisdom is personified as a woman (though God chooses to represent Himself as a masculine entity), and Jesus refers to him in the feminine form several times. Given the culture of the area and time period the Bible would have been written, it makes sense that God would reveal Himself as male in order to garner wider acceptance (being that men were higher on the social ladder than women), however when two and two are put together one could reason that God is a genderless entity, or comprised of two or more genders at once -- or, put simply, that God is everything. |
