I must disagree with you but like you said everyone has their own interpretations. If you take a closer look at the name of the song and the lyrics, IMO he is talking about a girl he loved who died. I believe you are right about the suicide, because by killing himself, it will allow him to be with her again on the other side (if there is one). It is even given away in this part... "Get the feeling that you're never All alone and I remember now At the top of my lungs in my arms she dies She dies" she dies in his arms and at this part it is him remembering that feeling that she is still with him in spirit or as a "ghost" which the song is so aptly named after all. If you think of it from my perspective, the rest is self explanatory in a "she is dead" point of view. |
