For me this song means more than the Intended meaning... It really reminds me a relationship I an in with a guy right now... Or rather a relationship I WANT to have with him... I hate to burden you guys with my issues but... For those who like a good love story... I have known him forever, his grand parents live in the same town as I do and him and his family usually come visit several times in the summer this spring things changed...when it says "it started out as a feeling Which then grew into a hope Which then turned into a quiet thought Which then turned into a quiet word" Is like how over a course of like five days I had this tiny feeling when I saw him that I might kinda like him but by the end of the day it had grown into a hope that he might like me. The next day when I saw him again at youth group I was staring to admit to myself that I did. "And then that word grew louder and louder until it was a battle cry" Is like how It hit me like right in the heart and I knew. The part that really smacks me in the feels is this one "Just because they can't fell it too Doesn't mean that you have to forget Let your memories grow stronger and stronger Until their before your eyes..." I recently found out that he says he has absolutely no feelings for me but that doesn't mean I'm going to give up. |
