This song seems to be directly linked to "Run Boy Run" by Woodkid. It seems that in Run Boy Run, his inner child was trying to run away from all that was happening. And here, his inner child dies, and they're trying to go back to the place they left in Run Boy Run. He's returning to that place a man, as he left that place a child. I think it needs Run Boy Run to be a complete storyline. |

I agree with this, because I heard that the storyline of "The Golden Age" is that a boy grows up because of heartbreak, and his inner child goes away. |
