I don't like this song but I jokingly showed it to one of my friends a long time ago and she said "Its about a girl who got in a fight with her boyfriend and she walked out went inside her car crashed into a bridge and it blew up she turned to a ghost leaving her boyfriend while she is in heaven" and tbh I can't argue |

| i think this song is about college/ high school. and how stressful some people are and how they feel like they're not good enough for anything, and the stress of all the exams and work gets to him, to the point where he really doesn't wanna live anymore. | |

In my opinion, this song is about these people's friends dying by suicide/drugs. "He was fragile and frozen When the bullet took away his friend" Maybe they were close friends, and the guy who lost his friend now feels hopeless and lonely, like he has no one. "She was fragile and frozen When the needle took away her friend" It seems as though the girls friend was a heroin addict. As a result of the deaths, both people are feeling suicidal. "She/He's pulling his/her weapon to his/her side Loading it full of his/her goodbyes" Now that their friends have died, they are now suicidal and their method of suicide is shooting themselves. By saying their side, I believe they're referring to the side of their heads. The enemy across the line is the suicide, yes that sounds weird. But I think its the suicide because they went across the line by taking their own lives. |

| This song reminds me of my mom. She used to be addicted to pills (no not illegally they were prescribed) and she loves this song. But on those pills, she was different. The "I'm safe up high, nothing can touch me" reminds me of the fact they were benzoids and she took them for anxiety. "Oh I stayed up again"she was an insomniac. "Please dont tell me we had that conversation" which reminded me of how she was somewhat irritable and got in arguments and such. This song describes a lot of her OLD SELF. She is now actually sober and feels much better. | |

i have a friend who witnessed his friend get shot as a kid and one of his friends committed suicide. and he loves this song, and i read the lyrics and almost cried. it reminds me of him, because he has multiple personalities and he says he cant get some things through when he's changing "Help me if you can It's just that this, this is not the way I'm wired So could you please," and the part where he says "Help me understand why You've given in to all these Reckless dark desires" would describe his friend committing suicide. obviously the song wasnt written about him, but this song reminds me so much of how he possibly feels and its so sad. |
