These lyrics are ridiculous. If he gave a letter to the postman one day, there's no way he would have got it back bright and early the next morning. Liar. |

Sorry, should have read through these in detail before posting... The word 'sophomore' is actually 'stop the war'. |

Also actually, just noticed the opening line is wrong. It's 'take time to hear the bow bells ring', in reference to idea that a cockney must be born within earshot of the st Mary-le-bow bells (know as the bow bells). |

The line 'Like art, take 'em; should your lover die, shine your shoes' should be 'Like Art Tatum, shoot your lover down, shine your shoes'. Art Tatum is a famous jazz pianist, hence 'Swing like Art Tatum'. The shoot your lover down is a 'Hey Joe' reference. |

Can someone please correct the lyrics about Beethoven to 'fuck' instead of 'damn', because it takes away the power of the line and also makes it seem like a horrible forced rhyme attempt with van and man. I don't know if it's 'damn' on the censored version, but it really ruins the best line in the song. |

| Small thing, but it's 'STILL, your friends don't understand....' not 'And'. | |

| It's always seemed quite obvious to me that the teaspoon/wave line refers to the ying yang symbol. To show that although they are supposed opposites, they fit together perfectly. They are in love despite their differences. | |
