As any song, the lyrics can be interpreted in millions of different ways, and will mean something different to everyone, and that doesn't make those interpretations any less right. But the fact cannot be changed that, yes, the original intended meaning pertained to the Catching Fire movie. |

This song is truly beautiful for many reasons. The harmonics, lyrics, and contrasting vocal styles make for a truly unique piece. But my favorite thing about this song is that 1000 people can hear it, 999 will listen to it, and it will be heard 1001 different ways. This song can hit home to everybody, each in its own unique way that will pertain directly to your own personal life. |
