Most of Twenty One Pilots songs are religious, but with me not being a religious person I try and see them a different way. To me this song seems to be about a boy that really likes this girl, he thinks she is the definition of perfection, but I guess others see her as an outcast such as her family which is why he says tell our dad I'm sorry. I don't know it makes sense to me. :) |

In my opinion I think that he has a flash back about when he was a kid with his brother playing pokemon cards and he realizes how much time has passed so then he starts to wish that we could wake up in slow town where I guess time slows down and we don't have to sorry about time going so fast |
