I'm really into rock of almost any genre and K-Pop. I enjoy poetry and writing lyrics of my own, and I enjoy spending most of my time listening to music and just absorbing everything it can provide for me.

This song can be interpreted in multiple ways. Most think of it as a song about trying to get over someone, but every time they try they fall back to them. They keep letting them in over and over, and it's always a waste of time and very toxic. But actually, this song is about Adam's drug addiction. It's about how he just couldn't resist the Oxycontin calling to him, so he would give in over and over. He wrote this song in rehab, along with most, if not all, the other songs from the One-X album. "Over and over, over and over I fall for you. Over and over, over and over, I try not to." Over and over again Adam gave into the sweet and cunning call of Oxycontin, regardless of how hard he tried to ignore it and leave it behind. "I try to live without you, every time I do, I feel dead." Adam tried to live without the drug and become sober, but he felt so broken from the side effects of the addiction that he felt dead and zombified. "I know what's best for me, but I want you instead." Adam knew he needed to stay sober to be better and get back on track, but his addiction was becoming a fierce battle to overcome. |

I think this one's pretty self explanatory. It's about loving someone that gave up on you, and trying to get over them. "I tried to make you happy, I did all that I could just to keep you, but you left anyways." He tried to make her happy and did everything to satisfy her because he loved her, but she either didn't want to hear it or just couldn't handle it and left him. "I'm trying to forget that I'm addicted to you." He's trying to get over her, and it's showing to be a difficult task. "I can't pretend I don't care when you don't think about me." He still cares deeply for her, but she seems to have moved on, which kills him inside. "How long will I be waiting? Until the end of time." He's willing to wait however long it takes, even to the end of time, for this girl. He loves her to the point where he's willing to throw his life away just for her. Like I said, pretty self explanatory. |
