I think this song is about rape. With the "red soaking wet" thing I'm thinking he's talking about very rough sex. The girl is wet but she is also bleeding. He is saying things to calm her down the whole time and try to convince her to go with it like "Lets sail in this sea of charms. Lets drown underneath the stars. Lets drink with our weapons in our hands. Lets sleep in this trance." But the several references to guns razors and knives remind me of threats. Like he is saying if she calls the police then he will hurt her. |

| Isles & Glaciers – Clush Lyrics | 11 years ago |

I think this song is about fame. Isles and Glaciers was a group of artists who had previously tasted fame. They are expressing their thoughts towards themselves, and that is they are very powerful and very important. They talk about how they are very big and powerful, and god-like to fans. In the 2nd verse they point out that it wasn't easy to get there. They had to work hard, and it's still diffucult. Being so big comes with consequences "Sometimes [they] feel just like machines" Durring the bridge "stare all you want..." I think they are referencing the fans again. They want to help their fans, but they are still on top. |

Great song. I think it's about a man who is in a relationship only for the s*x. (all the talk of dirt and being dirty) The woman had expressed that she was loosing interest. (you told me you wanted something bigger than me.) The man realizes that he doesnt need this in his life. He has friends who want the best for him and dont want him to stay in this s**-driven relationship. |
