I think this song is about a relationship that happened that was destined to not work out. It's possible for two people to have feelings for each other but still not be compatible and in my opinion, Methadone sums up these types of relationships perfectly. It's my favourite song on The Black Market. I'm a Song Meanings newbie so please correct me if I'm wrong about what follows. Methadone was the first lyrics I posted on here about two weeks ago but I can't seem to find my version of Methadone on here and can only see this version of the lyrics. Just wondering why they're no longer on here? I've bought The Black Market on CD so I took the lyrics right out of the official album booklet and they were more accurate than the lyrics on this version according to the previous comments I've read of this version. |
