I think it's about mental disorders, especially bi polar, I think the song could be about the mania part of bi polar. The hallucinations, inflated ego, and the risky behaviour is more noticeable when the highs are higher and the lows are lower. "It's all smooth sailing from here on out" It's hard to do things when your in the low parts but in the high mania motivation is a lot easier to find. "If reason is priceless there's no reason to pay for it" Prescriptions can be pretty expensive and most people don't want to take them anyway "I'll make a mountain of a molehill if the molehill is mine" If you want to use it as an excuse you can, because people can't tell you what state you're in, but there's no logic so you won't know if you're being realistic or not, at least not for a while. |
