I support what you're saying but touch screens are evil. Gaah, it says that I've rated your comment down and up. Should I just leave it alone now? |

I'll try to restrain myself from rambling. I agree with you people. Trent seems to be addressing a discipline in a rather broad sense. Although I can see it as a satirical/ sarcastic view of society as well. It was the first song that really stood out on The Slip when I first listened. It still does, but Lights in the Sky has really grown on me now... A lot. |

I am actually curious as to why this person believes these are the correct lyrics. I am eternally obsessed with the mundane aren't I? |

It kind of makes me feel ashamed that it took me as long as it did to realise this song was about drug dependency. Then again, at least I'm not blatantly saying that every song is about drugs. |

The only reason I made a profile was to say these lyrics can't be right. Even the description is wrong. The song was written by Andrew Eldritch and Jim Steinmen and I think it first appeared on Vision Thing. Erm... the reason I'm not editing it myself is because I would rather find someone who agrees with me first, and I don't know how this site works yet. Until now I've always just read people's posts. Also I don't know the lyrics well. I'm guessing nobody will see this comment for ages though. |
