This is definitely about post-war PTSD and the hell that it is. I love the lines "Politicians have a dispute to decide to send in troops / But the truth is they just don't understand." Politicians definitely don't know what it's like to be sent to a foreign country to kill its inhabitants and be left with a serious mental illness the rest of your life from it. |

I'm pretty surprised that this song has no comments. It is one of my favorite songs.. incredibly beautiful. This song is about someone's lover leaving them. Their lover fulfilled them. Every time I listen to this song I cry. I can definitely relate. I also adore how the singer keeps a positive outlook on the situation ("Every thing's okay in its own little way"). |
