Wow, I like what you wrote. I came to this site to check on the meaning of the lyrics, because of certain words in this song, I grew up with. I always found the passage about "...you shouldn't mess with me" offensive. But just recently I realized that this passage is more of a 'warning', rather than 'threat'. At least by viewing it this way, I will enjoy singing along much more. ...And singing along .... I must! Thank you again for your enlightened words. |
