I think this song takes the point of view of a Siren and as a Sailor.At the beginning when it says "I lost my heart, my home is the ocean...etc" it's the sailor already getting ready to give in and just fall for the siren but he's saying what he'll miss most before falling asleep. ⚓ As for the Siren when it says "fall asleep, Davy Jones calls you so fall asleep. .etc" in this point I think the siren is just waiting anxiously for the sailor to just give into her. |
