Bella donna used to be used as drops in the eyes to make your pupils dilate to be more attractive to the opposite sex - she is essentially saying her soul has expanded and she can either fall in on move on. This is probably my favorite song from her solo career and mostly because different lines appeal to the eye of the beholder. Going out on a limb here but its similar to yellow ledbetter by Pearl Jam (he's not sure if he's the boxer or the bag). Great lyrics. Clear and concise ... she will always be part of my life. |
