Robin Thicke – Blurred Lines Lyrics 10 years ago
@[imrazor:2197] I never said that it is a bad song. I did mention that it is a good song, but since posting this I've realized that I was wrong. Now I just don't even think about them but all round I realize that it could be about just about anything. I've grown up a lot and I re-read it recently and I now understand what you mean.
I'm sorry if I offended you in anyway, because I now know what I'm thinking. I didn't then. I just went with what everyone else said.
I apologize for what I said last July, and then in December.

@[imrazor:490] I take this song in my own way, and this is, though my age is only 12, I grew up extremely quickly, and honey, I think I have the right to my own opinion.

This song is the most disgusting song I have ever heard.
It is about a rape, which is very easy to see. 'I know you want it' is just one example of this, as he is saying to her 'I know you want to have sex with me'.
This is a horribly sexist song that shouldn't have even been thought of. He is a paedophile and I think it should be taken down.

On the other hand, it is a message to all young girls 'okay, now he was close' meaning that he was luring her into sex, but she was strong enough to refuse. 'but your an animal, its in your nature' meaning that she did want sex but knowing it was wrong she didn't.

Personally I think this song is a horrible and sexist song but can be seen both good and bad. I wouldn't like to be a part of it, so I can't understand, seeing as all those girls in the video are so genuinely beautiful, why they would have to resort to being in a cheap and paedophilic video.
I feel the name of the song 'Blurred Lines' means that she is drunk and the 'lines'-the things he is saying- are blurry and she doesn't know what to make of them.

And if I, a 12 year old girl can see this, what else is hidden beneath the lines of blurred lines?
