I wish I lived in Little Rock!! Evanescence's following has made it all the way to TN! I love their stuff! This song, to me, tells the story of a girl who leaves all that she knows to find happiness and will soon realise that happiness lies in what she left... A little artist license taken, yes, but I like to see beyond the song, ya know? |

I don't understand why the song goes back to saying
"Why I wasn't meant for you."
when it just said
"That I was the one for you"
I guess I'm a completist. I feel like the song should come to a definate point. Though, like most fans of this song, I love it because I too have an ex I'd like to get back with and until she gets married or I get married or we marry each other, I guess this song does a very good job of showing the rollercoaster ride of emotions that encompass unrequieted love. I love the Mandy Moore/Jonathan Foreman version of this song too! |
