Basically Lucifer's story, a nuanced interpretation of the universe as a musical instrument - the Lazaretto, reality/song produced from the reincarnation of spirits into bodies and their life and death decisions. "My vains are blue" (sad vanity) "connected to every single bone" (sexual conquests) "and my brain is elect-trick" (...) "But I dig ditches like the best of them" (fallen) [Spanish for "my work is like wood and plaster"]. Working in impermanence, he is the morning star, father of mornings and evenings rather than eternal beholdance. The only other thing I'll say is "coffee and cotton" probably means "been" and "picked." He was them or wants to be them. Also, it's "caste of the masses," not cash. Since I'm not about to violate the chain of command, I guess... heil? |
