Dead Poetic – Copy of a Copy Lyrics 11 years ago
Contrary to what other comments have said, the phrase "Copy of a copy" does not mean that you are just like everyone else who is just like everyone else. It's a colloquial phrase to indicate an imperfect copy, like a page printed, scanned, and the newly scanned page is then printed. Because the printing process is not perfect, little imperfections build on one another until the image is noticeably degraded.

At this point, this is purely an impression I got, so take it for what it's worth. The second stanza sounds like an oncoming breakdown as the narrator feels it run on him, he braces his back against the fall and slides down til he's on the floor. After she already told him he's imperfect and this is wrong, it seems he's trying to hide it's real affect rather than give her another reason to look down on him.
At this point, I'm torn between the next line being about hearing voices in your head or the voices of people you're trying to impress. As far as not letting them in, that would seem to support the idea of impressing people rather than mental issues.
In general, I get confused when villains are brought up in these songs and I'm fairly stumped for the rest of it.

Dead Poetic – Paralytic Lyrics 11 years ago
From the pacing to the gravelly, relaxed way it's sung in the verses, the song has a very sexual sound to it. This is added to by the line "paint lines on perfect eyes." This reminds me of the Shakespearean way of describing adding makeup as painting it on or painting your face. While this had a tendency to refer to prostitutes, I don't know that that specific meaning is intended.
As makeup, the lines would be a kind of eyeliner that highlights the eyes and draws attention to them. Since it seems very sexual, it seems to be referring to a lover or someone he'd like to love. "My undivided attention" - complete infatuation. "You're mine tonight" has a huge tendency of being used to refer to making love.

Sadly, this doesn't really help me interpret the rest of the song.
The second verse sounds really similar to the quote, "What profit it a man to gain the world but lose his soul?" I have no idea how that would relate.

Others have mentioned the paralyzed from the facedown as a way to talk about having expressive faces but no action resulting. On the face of it, it sounds like the people in pictures; they have dynamic expressions that convey emotions while they're body is frozen in time. The latter half of the chorus may refer to the fake smiles you put on for a picture as a way to talk about how we hide feelings behind a happy look.

I am so genuinely confused, but I absolutely love to listen to this song.
