This song is actually just an ee cummings poem, and the other two songs borrow from the poem for their titles. The way I see it, they're connected because in both the poem and the songs the speaker is greatly influenced by the person they love. I think their two songs play off the third stanza a lot, by showing the power of one person to destroy, or close, someone that loves them by rejecting them. |
