I agree with what everyone is saying above how this about 9/11 until I read that interpretation I had no idea that was want it was about I just love this part of the song: Let the blind lead the blind 'Cause it's eye for an eye in your so called life It was stuck in my head for a few weeks but I couldn't figure out what song it was from I spent the next day listing to every rise against song I could find trying to figure out what song it was from this song right now is my currently one favorite rise against songs |

First everyone please stop complaining if you don't like the song the don't listen to it . The only reason I am posting this is because none of you are talking about the actually song. I think this song is about loss. "She got down on hands and knees, one ear against the ground, Holding her breath to hear something, but the dirt made not a sound tonight" The women in the song lost someone important to her and she is currently stand over there grave desperate to hear or just see their loved ones again. When it says The dirt whispered, "Child, I'm coming home." I think that this show that the one she loss was possibly a one or both of their parents. That's why the dirt address the women as child. |
