| The Dear Hunter – The Bitter Suite I: Meeting Ms. Leading / Through the Dime Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| This is the Boy's official meeting of Ms. Leading. He is instantly captivated by her beauty, and he falls in love. In part II of this particular piece, Ms. Leading leads the Boy to her room, and then we flow into The Bitter Suite III. | |
| The Dear Hunter – The Church and the Dime Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| This is the boy finding the Church, or, at night, the Dime, a brothel in the heart of the city (going back to Act I, the Priest that moonlights as a Pimp runs this place, and the Boy's mother "worked" here). He meets a particular Ms. Leading, which leads us to The Bitter Suite I and II. | |
| The Dear Hunter – The Oracles on the Delphi Express Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| The end of The Lake and the River is when we first hear the oracles on the train. Then, we are led into The Oracles on the Delphi Express, which is a song about the oracles knowing what lays ahead for the Boy. They tell him not to leave, to avoid all of this, but he declines, and continues on his journey into the city. | |
| The Dear Hunter – The Procession Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| This song, the opening of Act II, is about the unfortunate death of the Boy's mother. The Boy is truly heartbroken, and, knowing nothing else about the outside world, decides to leave his home, which leads us to the next track, The Lake and the River. | |

Powerful song. Just so powerful. All of the different pieces are what makes The Dear Hunter The Dear Hunter. This song is about the Boy, after the unfortunate death of his mother, deciding to leave and go to the city that she has told him stories about so he can learn his mother's (and ultimately his) origins. |

Today on Spotify somehow I ended up listening to the 13 minute Everything Evil Demo and didn't even know it. Also, this song is fantastic. After listening to this song and this album, Good Apollo and No World for Tomorrow make so much more sense. |

| Strongly disagree. Apollo II is so much better. So is Fear Through the Eyes of Madness. And Welcome Home. And Ten Speed. And just about every other song on the album is better than this. | |

All of Coheed's stories/albums/characters connect. That's what makes them so fucking badass. Sirius Amory (The Afterman) puts the Keywork back together after The Writer and Claudio Kilgannon (The Character) plan to destroy it. Sirius Amory, from The Afterman albums (2013), is a scientist who travels to the Keywork after years of research. There he meets souls (Key Entity Extractions) that force them to relive their lives. That's Ascension. Descension is Sirius returning from the Keywork. Meri, his wife, tells him a shocking secret and he loses control of a car, smashing into a truck and killing Meri. Sirius then plans to return to the Keywork and bring Meri home, even if it kills him. It's some emotional and crazy shit. Look it up. |

Coheed is great and so is Rush... Claudio Sanchez' (Coheed's lead singer) voice sounds nothing like Geddy's. Claudio can change his voice to fit any character (Coheed and Cambria's albums have stories to them) and Geddy's voice is completely unique. Claudio is a really good guitar player and Geddy is probably the best "Rock 'n' Roll" bassist to ever live. You go, Gary Lee Weinrib. Rock on, Claudio Sanchez. |
