| I think it's about a father's love for his son/daughter because Aly performed it on Hellcats and her character, Marti, said it was written by someone special to her, and it was implied that that someone special was her dad, who she never knew, but, given the wording of the song and the fact that she found it, it is very likely that Marti's dad wrote it. | |

| It's saying that she'll never be a knight or a prince, or a saint, and if that's whoever she's singing the song to thinks they need then they're wrong. They just need someone to fall back on and if they need her then she'll be there for them but she'll be herself (as opposed to a prince, a saint, a knight, or a kamikaze fighter), helping that person, and being there for them as long as they need her. | |

| It's about how when people look back on times in history eg 1930s or 1970s they would think "oh, yeah the 1930s, that was when they had the Great Depression" or "oh, yeah, the 70s. The decade of the hippy(?). Just after they walked on the moon. Yup." And when they look back at our generation they might see the generation obsessed with technology, or the greedy generation, or the lost generation, but if we are a bit more loving and caring towards others then we might be seen as generation love. | |

| I think the song is about one person (Aly or AJ) ending the relationship but they're still not completely over them but then they see the person they broke up with "hanging out with someone new" and that shows them that they're ready to move on and then HOW they move on and they're getting closer to closure. | |

| I think it's about a girl who wants to be careful with her words and she's tried to get her point across and this guy is so dense he dosen't get that she just needs some space and the "I ran out of words" bit is about her having no more nice ways to phrase it and she just needs to put it bluntly. | |
