It's a beautiful thing to see the world through unconditional love. You see people for who they truly are at their core inner being level, and not the armor, walls, or whatever past experiences the mind has overlaid on their perception/conscious. Unconditional love is always there for you, even if you make mistakes, it forgives. It is omnipresent and omnipotent. | |

My thoughts on this are similar to what others have said but it goes a little deeper. Why are two people in a relationship and not communicating? There are so many factors in why someone would choose not to communicate, everything from fear to insecurities. Communication is KEY in a relationship, and unless you are truly in touch with yourself, you may not be able to sit down and talk about everything and anything. Partners who are maybe more in touch with who they are can see you holding back, but know that there may be nothing they can do to help you talk about how you feel if you are not ready. If one party would do anything to talk, and the other is unable to communicate properly, you find yourself stuck, where this couple is in this song. Knowing something is not right, but unable to communicate it in a way that will help bring their relationship to that next level. |

Basis of argument: Bird can be strong, beautiful, angelic creatures -- a real marvel to se. Lambs are vulnerable, hence shepherd to help guide them. If we look at this as a relationship or a potential relationship with someone, this is how it could be interpreted. A man is looking at a woman who he believes is a rare bird, unique and stunning she lights up the room. Obviously this man wants this rare bird, therefore he asks the rare bird to abide with me. Don't give yourself away too easily, you should be mindful of your choices, picky even about who you choose as a partner. When this rare bird comes around, she lights up the room, she stands tall and glows for all to see. The beautiful lamb is speaking to insecurities. We all have them, we just choose to run from them or confront them, and grow. Don't walk away from those insecurities, talk about them, be open with me, immediately, don't bottle it up. Focus on the good, because when you do you shine rare bird, and all can see. Take my hand, because I am not perfect either. Let's accept each other for our imperfections. If I can edit this later I probably will. I am always making things better. =) |
