I feel like the song is about someone talking a lover/loved one/friend out of suicide. "If this world is wearing thin, and you're thinking of escape" referrs to the desire to die. "If you try to go alone, dont think I'll understand" is the anger that the lover/loved one/friend of the suicidal person feels. "in the silence of your room, in the darkness of your dreams" is talking about the depression and lonliness a suicidal person feels. |
