Wow...first comment? This might be one of the darkest and saddest songs I've ever listened to. I think the saddest part is how much I can relate... Essentially it's about suicide, but never having the courage to go through with it. Holding on to a glimmer of hope that maybe....just maybe....things will turn out better. Keep grinding and pushing yourself to be better. Perhaps, in time, things will be better. But there's the knowledge that time is finite. Every day is closer to the end anyway. How much can I fix and get better so the cards just fall into place? But maybe, this one time, things will change. My only wish. Some progression and purpose in this meaningless life... |

Is it me, or is that theme at the end straight from Close Encounters of The Third Kind? Not that I care, because its one of the coolest movies about aliens ever made. |
