| Isis – The Beginning And The End Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| To me this feels like a love that didn´t end as the person refered in the song wanted it to end. I imagine him laying in the sand with waves coming and going, while he thinks of the times that he used to do that with his loved one. He feels the water and he knows its power. Since the water is all that he has left now that she is gone, he lets himself go with "The promise of something greater beyond the water's final horizon". Basically commiting suicide. Aaron said Oceanic has women and suicide has major subjects. That final line is a perfection definition of suicide because it is basically the promise of something better on the otherside. Anyway, this is just my interpretation. Amazing song btw | |
