great song, not a huge tyler fan but i do like some of his songs, I just think that earl is better. Song is about a girl he really cared about as more than just a slut but she stays with her boyfriend and he just has to forget about her |

When this song came out I was in eighth grade, and I used this song to keep going. Rejection from girls and dealing with bullying was the main issue in life back then so I would listen to Creep by radiohead and then follow it up with this song and feel a little better. Pretty depressing and sad but hey Eminem always made songs that would keep me strong growing up |

thats a really great reflection. I just wanted to point out that I heard a story from the rapper TI that he saved lead singer scott stapp's life when he was about to jump from his hotel room and he didn't even know who he was. I don't know whether or not this song was written before that happened it might not have actually because I remember being very young when I head this but I always think of that as a literal interpretation for this song because whether or not it happened before or after it is the same story |
