I am not sure I agree with the 'Morrissey is gay' theme here. Marr always lamented Morrissey's lack of sexuality and said he needed a good fuck. Apart from that, most of the comments here seem to be spot on. This song means a lot to me too. The dreadful alienation of clubs and discos still haunts me. Anyway, although I realise it's not correct, I always liked the thought of: I am the sun and the air. |
