Love this song! So inspirational, I can relate to it. I'm in college and studying radio, and I really want to be on the radio one day. But some people in my family (uncle and my cousins) think I should do something else cause it's too difficult to get into, and they're all about making top dollar. I'm a hard worker and it just drives me and makes me want it more. I love music a lot andI literally can't see myself doing anything else but it. I know that I can do it, I believe in my self and this is my fight song! |

Whenever I hear this song, I remember back to the time this last fall when I was driving up in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin (I'm from the Chicagoland area) and this song came on the radio, and it literally describes this relationship I had with a girl back in the spring and early summer that I met at work and went out with and developed feelings for her and we kinda went our separate ways cause she started college that fall in Milwaukee, and I kinda found it strange how this song came on well I was up there and I couldn't help but think of her as I was driving through there with this song on. Cause the song sounds like it's about a relationship that kinda faded similar to mine. |

This song reminds me of my Grandma and Grandpa. When my Grandma died in 2001, my Grandpa loved her very much, and didn't want to live without her, he tried to kill himself with a bunch of pills, the neighbors found him unconscious but alive, so he went to a rehab center and then when he was in the rehab center he thought the guy next to him at first was my Grandma cause he was so out of it cause of the pills. It was really sad, he cared about her so much and my parents say that I got the trait of good-hearted from him. As I've gotten older I realized that I probably would want to do the same thing if my wife died, and how awful that must of been losing her. But in 2007 he passed away and now he's with her once again in Heaven |

Ok I've always interpreted this song being about a girl who keeps falling for guys that she finds really attractive, the Channing Tatum, Zac Efron or whoever girls find really attractive nowadays. But the good looks are all they have going for them. Cause other than that they treat her wrong and are just a bunch of jerks to her. But along comes a guy that's not the best looking, maybe a little overweight, but he knows how to treat her right, unlike the guys with good looks. And she realizes that looks aren't everything and imagined a guy like that when she was a little girl that would treat her right and that's all that would matter for her to be happy |
