thought i'd comment since i looked for a song meaning for this n there wasnt one, Talk about your peace of mind. The one I found so hard to find. Mosquito stuck in amber mine. Don't want my body trapped in time. my interpretation is this song is made after he has broken up with a partner, he doesnt want to have feelings and hurt all over his mind and doesnt want to be trapped feeling sad he's "waiting for skies to clear" but not doing anything about it just being sad How's it feel to disappear. Like seriously, just disappear. And take a stab from papa's spear. Getting drunk on rotten air. this bits a bit trickier to interpret, maybe he was the one who deleted his partner from his life, making her "disappear" "taking a stab from papa's spear" could be him getting his revenge on her by refusing contact. Bite my tongue, I taste your blood. Never thought that I could bite hard enough. Eyes of fire in your skull. You've got the kind of eyes that burns goose flesh off. He thinks about her so much that he describes it as physical "biting his tongue and tasting your blood" the eyes of fire part could be a metaphor for how he feels when he looks at her, maybe she betrayed him or he betrayed her Oh your charm is getting cold.
