Sorry Groujo, but the title of the song was originally released as The Great Mandella, not Mandala. If you own Album 1700, the 6th song is: The Great Mandella (The Wheel Of Life). However, I agree that it is referring to the Buddhist beliefs as you specified. This causes, even today, lots of confusion. The name of the song was later changed (or corrected).
