The first verse is saying how many stupid things that he's said and done that harmed the one he loves. He's in the middle of this situation, and it's hard to get out. He wishes he can undo everything, but he can't escape from what already happened. He never meant to hurt her. He tries and tries to get out of this spider web he is in, because he is so caught up with all his actions he's done that hurt her. The last verse, "They spun a web for me"... meaning those external factors aren't allowing him to be with her. He's done and said all the stupid things for a reason, to get over her and move on. They were the ones who spun a web, and made him stuck in this spider web. Despite everything that has happened, he still can't get out and continues to hurt the one he loves, just to get over her. |
