To me, this song is about someone who gives everything of themselves for their friend/lover/whatever. To make it easier, I'll put in the view of a gf/bf relationship. When the girl is sad, the guy will do anything to make her happy, he will smile for her, be strong for her. He won't allow himself to be sad, even if he is, for her sake. He might fall apart, he might burn, but thats okay, as long as she is happy. Then she stopped loving him,he has 'fallen from her sky', but he has forgotten how to live outside her, forgotten how to feel, and he doesn't know what it means. Doesn't want to think about it, because the answer is not one he wants to hear |
