this song is one i can relate to very easily. i may only be in highschool, but isnt that the point. marina wants everyone to relate. I loved a guy for months and allowed myself to fall for him completely, only to find out he didnt feel the same way, it felt as if our whole relationship was a lie. when i hear this song i think of him 100% because this does describe us. he was a coward, and i didnt want to let go. i think she is having a similar situation that is happening when she wrote this. I know i didnt want to know about my ex's reasons why, and get hurt even more, i knew it would crush me for fighting for him for so long. so i thnk thats where she is going with that. he was also to scared to tell me he didnt feel it anymore, and the real reasons why, he was to COWARDLY to actually talk to me. and be honest with me. marina and i have a lot in common |
