| Actually, this song fits *precisely* how one feels when conflicted with anxiety and/or depression. There is no other song in the history of mankind that I'm aware of that could more accurately interpret the feelings behind these. More to the point, anxiety with a touch of depression. I have personally always felt that the writer of this has true first hand experience in this realm of psyche because no one BUT someone with this experience could describe the thought pattern more clearly. From the other commenters, if they said they don't know what it means, they are just maintaining their privacy as far as I'm concerned, which is their right, and also a very common response for someone with anxiety or depression to maintain their dignity. For those of you who have never experienced this and therefore cannot relate to the song, I sincerely hope you never can. <3 | |
