Kiss the dirt took me a while to understand, as the execution of this song from a musical standpoint is flawless. It took me a real downer of a day to understand what Michael is saying. It's simple but the flow of life has a lot of ups (the mountains) and peaks (when you are going down) So when you are headed down, he is basically saying don't worry. Re-focus. You'll find your way back, or maybe even on a brand new path. Take a closer look at where you are at and go forward! |
