well, i think the "I" in the song has friends, has a job and everything he needs, but he still feels lost because he has nobody to love and be loved, nobody to turn to in hard times, nobody who is there for him/her. he/she fells lonely because he/she has not the felling to LIVE, only to act what the others tells him/her. this song really describs my feelings although i'm not brave enough to tell. yes, I feel lonely, and I need some love. |

Well, this is one of my favorite song, I can hear it without getting bored. I think this song means to me different cuz it reminds me of my almost-boyfriend. Yet, I still ask myself the question: what if...? Sometimes, I caught myself going to places where the boy and I used to spend our afternoon, but it feels like it has changed. "I remember going back/to the place we used to lay/ but I keep loosing track". "Why do you tell me you care if you're not going to change?" My almost-boyfriend told me that he really likes me, but everytime his first think of others but not 'bout me. I've told him once, twice, everytime he promised to change, but had broken it so many times I couldn't find any reasons to trust him anymore. "Now I'm slowly giving up/As the world keeps losing faith/And you still turn your back" "Now the path I follow/Takes a toll on me/On you/But there's no turning back" It hurted a lost when I made that decision, but to go on and live my life, I had to leave, and I cannot turn back.
