Blink-182 is by far my favorite band... Every time I listen to this song i thing of me and my ex-girlfriend. We were together for about a year, but she dumped me right when summer was about to start. she said she didn't want to hurt me if she met some one else over the summer because we lived 2 hours away. to me it meant she wanted to just have fun and do whatever she wanted with no regrets, we use to have craze sex and do everything, but i now know what "Your smile fades in the summer" means.. our relationship was all about sex, and even tho that's all i wanted at first, i fell too hard and got hurt bad. I've been with a lot of girls, and i didn't think anything special of her at first, but then i realized the love of my life is gone, and i have no chance of getting her back. I fell this song is about the struggles of a man who usually tends to be a douche and hook up with a lot girls, actually gets feelings for one who plays him. |
