| Judas Priest – Hell Patrol Lyrics | 11 years ago |
|
Seems to be the truth that Halford himself stated the Hell Patrol is all about USAF tactical fighter pilots during the first Iraqi war. The lyrics is quite a glorifiyng example of the horror that the attacking airplanes could create among the eyewitnesses on the ground. But comparing the time of the war and the song's release, it may seem that Halford had just wanted the song would be connected to USAF or the other "Devil Dogs" (a general US Marines nickname). Funny enough, due to the notable gap between Judas Priest and military affairs, opposite to the other British metal kings, the Iron Maiden. |
