Elbow – Usually Bright Lyrics 9 years ago
Probably something to do with attending a funeral of an old friend or a family member from a town that you grew out of.

Lior – Safety Of Distance Lyrics 10 years ago
An amazing anti-war song only realized several years after its initial release in 2008.

Lior sang this on the 100th anniversary of the World War I ANZAC, Canadian, Indian, British, and French forces landing on the shores of Gallipoli in Turkey in 2015. Several nations joined together to remember and reflect 100 years later. Compassion is truly the measure of a man.

Daniel Rossen – Golden Mile Lyrics 11 years ago
The background vocals at the tail-end of the chorus always get me. An entire EP album full of amazing guitar work and drumming and all it takes is a few voices wailing on the last song to send me crumbling.

I feel like this song is about the personification of a god/goddess that resides in the realm of karma.

Grizzly Bear – Half Gate Lyrics 11 years ago
I honestly feel that the song is about the death of loved ones in multiple situations regarding old and young age.
