| I love this song, it's the B-side to the Lover Come Back to Me single. It's very dark and sensual, almost a bit like a cabaret song. I believe it is about a man who has fallen in love with his looks and his ego has consequently been blown out of proportion, yet deep inside this self love has been fuelled by insecurities about the way he looks. In reality he is a very unstable person who loathes himself and so has created a new image in the mirror and has fallen in love with his new self, which he says he knows is a "bad direction" to take. | |
